Title:Observations from UK Dog Training Data
Author(s):
Date:2001
Abstract:This study was undertaken at the request of SARDA South Scotland and was an attempt to use the data from several years of training to get some indication of the factors affecting the performance of an air scenting search dog. It provides a comprehensive description of the assessment technique in addition to the outcome of the analysis. It concludes with an explanation of a handler might use the Six Step Process to manage themselves and their dog through their search area.
