Title:Instructor Guide for Search is an Emergency

Abstract:This manual will enable anyone with a teaching ability and a general knowledge of search and rescue to teach a 32 to 40-hour course in “how to manage search operations.” Keyed to the student text, each chapter begins with student objectives, teaching aids required, and references. The instructor is clearly shown how to use the overheads and slides that are necessary to teach this course. A final 60-page chapter contains everything the instructor will need to present 4 table-top map exercises, designed to be presented at certain times during the course for optimum student learning.
